Yallingup coastline

Yallingup &
Margaret River

Western Australia's most stunning coastal and wine region

Where the Indian Ocean meets ancient forest and world-class wine.

Yallingup is a small coastal hamlet in Western Australia's South West, about 3 hours' drive south of Perth. The name comes from the Wardandi Noongar word meaning "place of love" — and once you see it, you'll understand why.

The coastline here is extraordinary: turquoise water, white sand beaches framed by granite boulders, and dramatic limestone cliffs. Inland, the landscape shifts to towering karri and marri forests, rolling vineyards, and some of Australia's most spectacular cave systems.

The broader Margaret River region is one of Australia's premier food and wine destinations, home to over 150 wineries, award-winning restaurants, artisan producers, and a relaxed, welcoming culture that makes you want to stay forever.
