A stunning beach with crystal clear water. The lagoon area near the rocks is shallow and calm — ideal for toddlers paddling.

Canal Rocks
Dramatic rock formations where the ocean surges through narrow channels. A spectacular walk along the bridge and rocks — the kids will be mesmerised.

Injidup Natural Spa
A natural rock pool where waves wash in and create a warm, bubbly spa effect. A unique experience — though best for adults and older kids.

Hamelin Bay

Surfers Point, Prevelly
The famous surf beach that put Margaret River on the map. Home to the annual WSL Margaret River Pro competition. Even if you don't surf, watching the waves crash here is spectacular.

Margaret River Chocolate Factory
One of WA's most popular tourist attractions. Free chocolate tastings every day with a huge range of handmade chocolates. There's also a cafe and the kids will think they've died and gone to heaven.

Simmos Ice Creamery
Voted one of the Top 15 Ice Creameries in the World by USA Today. Over 60 flavours of handmade ice cream, a huge playground out the back, mini golf, and a human gyroscope. The kids will go absolutely wild here.

A Maze'n Margaret River
Australia's biggest hedge maze plus mini golf, puzzle rooms, and a cafe. Over 30 years old and still going strong. Hours of entertainment for the whole family.

Ngilgi Cave
Stunning cave system just 5 minutes from the house. Guided tours through incredible stalactite formations. There's also an adventure tour for the brave.

Busselton Jetty
The longest timber piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere (1.8km). Walk or ride the train to the underwater observatory at the end — one of only 6 in the world. Spectacular.

Country Life Farm
A working farm where kids can feed animals, collect eggs, and ride ponies. A classic Aussie farm experience that the little ones will adore.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse
Beautiful lighthouse with panoramic ocean views. Short walk to the top, and the trail down to Sugarloaf Rock is one of the most scenic coastal walks in WA.

One of Australia's most iconic wineries. Stunning art gallery, world class restaurant, and beautiful grounds. Their Art Series Chardonnay is legendary.

The founding estate of Margaret River wine. Excellent restaurant, art gallery, and cellar door. Beautiful grounds with lawns for the kids.

Margaret River Town
The heart of the region — charming, walkable, and full of character.
Margaret River town itself is about a 25 minute drive from the house and well worth a visit. The main street is lined with boutique shops, galleries, cafes, and restaurants. It has a relaxed, artistic vibe that's a world away from city life.
The town is the perfect base for a day of exploring. Browse the local bookshop, pick up some artisan cheese, grab a coffee at one of the excellent cafes, and wander through the weekend farmers' market if the timing works out. There's also a beautiful river walk that runs right through town — perfect for stretching the legs with the kids.
And just 10 minutes west of town you'll find Surfers Point at Prevelly — the famous surf break that hosts the annual WSL Margaret River Pro. Even if nobody surfs, watching the waves crash against the reef from the clifftop lookout is an experience in itself.
